  1. 3. Traditional Staking Options vs Liquid Staking

3.1. Individual/Solo Staking

Solo staking is individual staking without the use of a third party or staking pool. It entails the individual operates and runs a staking node to validate blockchain transactions. While the safest option, as you do not have to go through a separate party or individual, there is a large barrier to entry for most of the crypto population. There is a very small percentage of us that have the proper technical knowledge to do this and very few of those that can perform well. Then, there is an even smaller population still that has the 32 ETH deposit for entry readily available. While the purest and most profitable form of staking, the adoption and use from the public is zero.
